A beautiful image.

This is the volcano Popocatépetl (commonly referred as "Don Goyo"), seventy kilometres to the southeast of México City. The name, in náhuatl, means "Smoking Mountain". It is an active volcano!, therefore the cloud of smoke at the top.

We are currently going through a cold wave and it has snowed in some parts of the country, including the top of Don Goyo.

The photograph was taken from the newspaper "La Jornada" and it belongs to Joel Merino.

Gorgeus!.
